About these rates
Rates come from ExchangeRate-API, which publishes reference rates once a day. Each conversion shows when its rates were published and when the next update is expected. They are mid-market rates, which sit between the buying and selling prices; they are not live market prices.
Banks, card providers and money transfer services set their own rates and usually add fees or a margin, so the amount you receive will differ. Rate history charts use the European Central Bank’s daily reference rates, which cover about 30 major currencies.
